From train journeys filled with laughter to late-night strolls through vibrant streets, this journey was packed with surprises and unforgettable moments. Departure from Bangalore:
Our adventure began on the afternoon of the 16th, when we said goodbye to the bustling city of Bangalore. At 2:25 pm, we left the office, our bags filled with anticipation and our hearts set on an exciting trip to VIT Bhopal. The journey was off to a promising start as we made our way to Yelahanka railway station, where we would catch our train to Bhopal.
While waiting at the station, we had a delightful encounter with an adorable baby who brought a sense of warmth and joy to our group. It was the perfect way to kick off our journey, reminding us of the simple pleasures that come with travel.
All Aboard the Train:
Our train arrived at 4:10 pm, and we eagerly boarded, ready to embrace the adventures ahead. We settled into our seats, our excitement palpable as the train began to chug along the tracks. Snacks were passed around, lively conversations filled the air, and as night fell, we caught a few winks under the starlit sky. It was a journey full of camaraderie, laughter, and a sense of anticipation.
The following day, the 17th, started with a refreshing breakfast aboard the train. We spent the morning chatting, listening to music, and even watching a movie. At one of the station stops, we ventured out to try some spicy local food, a treat that added a burst of flavor to our journey. The day continued with more conversations and practice for the upcoming workshop at VIT Bhopal. After a satisfying dinner, we took a short nap, eagerly anticipating our arrival in Bhopal.
Arrival in Bhopal:
At 1:30 am on the 18th, we finally arrived at Bhopal railway station, where a friendly cab driver awaited us. The ride to VIT Bhopal was smooth, and we were greeted with warm hospitality upon our arrival. The cozy accommodations provided the perfect place to recharge before the start of our workshop later that day.
By 10:45 am, the workshop was in full swing, and we were having a blast! We taught, we learned, and we made new friends. The day flew by, and by 5:30 pm, we wrapped up, feeling proud of our efforts and eager to explore more of Bhopal.

After freshening up, we went for a leisurely walk, enjoying the evening breeze and soaking in the vibrant campus atmosphere. A delicious dinner followed, capping off a day filled with new experiences and valuable connections.
The Final Stretch:
On the 19th, we woke up bright and early for the final day of the workshop. It went smoothly, and by the end of the day, we felt a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Before leaving, we assembled two RC planes to give to the college—a meaningful gesture that symbolized our time at VIT Bhopal.
With our bags packed and tickets in hand, we boarded the train back to Bangalore. A slight hiccup occurred when one of our tickets was on a waiting list, but it was quickly confirmed, allowing us to relax and enjoy the journey.
The train ride back was as enjoyable as the trip to Bhopal. We indulged in a hearty dinner, chatted with fellow passengers, and watched the landscape roll by. The next morning, we arrived at Rani Kamala Pati railway station at 3:45 am. Despite the early hour, the station’s serene beauty captivated us.
After securing tickets to Itarsi, we boarded the train at 4:45 am and continued our journey. At Itarsi, we took a short break to enjoy a delicious breakfast before returning to the station to await our connecting train.
A Final Twist:
As the day progressed, we were eager to return to Bangalore, but fate had one last surprise in store. Our express train, which typically had no stop in Yelahanka, unexpectedly paused for three minutes. This gave us just enough time to dash out and retrieve a forgotten bag—a true adventure in itself! We sprinted back to the train just in time, and by 1:35 pm, we finally arrived back home, filled with memories of an unforgettable trip to VIT Bhopal.
This journey was a testament to the power of teamwork, perseverance, and the thrill of exploration. Despite the challenges and unexpected twists along the way, it was an adventure that we’ll cherish for a long time. So here’s to more journeys, more surprises, and more thrilling stories.
