The Chinati Foundation houses modern artworks with environmental themes; tours are provided. Another contemporary art museum in the Big Bend region that supports local creatives is Ballroom Marfa.
Marfa Burrito serves up delicious burritos, while Marfa Spirit Co. serves up creative drinks made with rum, sotol, vodka, and more. Marfa Book Co. is the place to go for a unique keepsake, while Chinati Hot Springs cottages, El Cosmico, Hotel Paisano, and Hotel Saint George are just a few of the many eccentric and interesting places to stay.
The Marfa Lights, a strange light phenomena that happens southeast of town, are not to be missed. There are a few various hues of lights, and their origin is still up for debate.

When you get back to town, you may enjoy boutique shopping, a growing bar and restaurant scene, museums, and art galleries among the Texas-German architecture that borders the streets. Gruene and Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas and a popular modern-day live music venue, may both be found in New Braunfels.
